Founded in March 2005, Inspire Community Trust (Inspire) has quickly grown and made significant strides in enhancing facilities and services for individuals in Bexley and the surrounding areas. Our strong partnership with the London Borough of Bexley has been instrumental in making Inspire a reality, with a funding arrangement that ensures both continuity of services and the opportunity for long-term planning and development.

Community Equipment
We work with the NHS partners, community hospitals, hospices, care homes and individuals within Bexley, Greenwich and Bromley Boroughs to sell, manage or rent equipment disability equipment is given on loan following an assessment by a Social Care or Health Care professional.
Decontamination
We have a state-of-the-art decontamination facility a UK First FULL-DEPTH disinfection technology. Our cutting-edge decontamination solution is the first of its kind in the UK, offering advanced environmentally friendly disinfection, proven to neutralize harmful pathogens providing healthcare facilities with a safer, more effective way to combat infections and protect our service users.
Concessionary Travel
At Inspire, we are proud to handle the application process for the issue of Blue Badges and freedom passes for people of all ages with disabilities, on behalf of the London Borough of Bexley. The Blue Badge scheme offers a variety of parking benefits for individuals with disabilities, whether they are driving or traveling as passengers.
Living Solutions Shop
Our equipment shop, provides impartial advice and support to help individuals with disabilities find the right equipment to assist with daily living at home. We offer a wide range of products at competitive prices, ensuring that our customers can access the equipment they need. From smaller items like Sock Aids, Long Handled Washing Aids, RADAR Keys, and Grab Rails, to larger equipment such as Toileting and Bathing aids, Rollators, Wheelchairs, and Sensory Equipment.
Wheelchair Services
Comprehensive support for individuals of all ages who have long-term mobility challenges and related postural needs. We work within a clear set of criteria to ensure that you receive the most suitable equipment for your specific requirements. With our expert knowledge, we are committed to providing ongoing support, maintenance and repairs for your wheelchair, ensuring it continues to meet your needs.
Rental Managed Services
Inspire Medicare work in conjunction with all types of healthcare providers to develop highly bespoke full Managed Equipment Services. This consists of managing and moving equipment, storage, decontamination, asset tracking, preventative maintenance and equipment repairs. We have developed the expertise of managing our own range of equipment, as well as other brands and products that aren’t included in our core range. Please return your Equipment Recycling to aid others, call for a collection.
Sensory Support Services
The Sensory Support Team provide services to adults and children who are Deaf and hearing impaired, and to people with sight loss and those with dual sensory impairments throughout the London Borough of Bexley.
OneBexley
A partnership of eight local charities that conducts social care assessments on behalf of the London Borough of Bexley. The goal is to ensure Bexley residents, including older adults, people with disabilities, or those with long-term conditions, receive the care and support they need. The consortium includes organizations such as Age UK Bexley, Bexley Mencap, and Bexley Voluntary Service Council.
Library Services
We are proud to support and engage with the local communities through our three libraries. Each of our libraries within the borough of Bexley offer a variety of activities and groups that are free to join, providing valuable opportunities for personal growth, learning, and connection.
Day Care Services
Designed to assist individuals with disabilities, offering tailored programs to support daily activities. In collaboration with each person, we create personalized plans that include a variety of daily support options, engaging activities, and fortnightly outings. The goal is to empower individuals to achieve the highest level of independence and enrich their quality of life.
