At Inspire Community Trust, our approach goes far beyond delivering services — we work to build stronger, more connected communities across the London Borough of Bexley. As a user-led organisation, we are committed to promoting independent living and ensuring that disabled people and those with sensory impairments have the support, confidence and opportunities they need to thrive.
Our Independent Living Centre in Slade Green provides a fully accessible base for a wide range of services, advice and assessments. From here, and across our community locations, we create meaningful social value through practical support, inclusive activities and strong local partnerships.
How We Create Social Value
We host regular forums that give residents a genuine voice in shaping local services. These spaces encourage collaboration, shared learning and user-led decision-making — ensuring that lived experience drives real change.
Our Digital Champions help people build confidence with technology, from getting online to accessing essential services. This reduces digital exclusion and empowers residents to stay connected, informed and independent.
Across our community libraries, we deliver inclusive events, workshops and activities that bring people together. These spaces act as safe, welcoming hubs where residents can learn, socialise and access support close to home.
We provide a range of free services designed to remove barriers and improve quality of life. Whether it’s information, equipment guidance, signposting or one-to-one support, our focus is always on enabling people to make informed choices and live more independently.
We work closely with partners including One Bexley, Bexley Two-Fold and the NHS, ensuring that our community benefits from coordinated, high-quality support. These partnerships strengthen our impact and help us deliver services that are responsive, inclusive and sustainable.
