Wheelchair Service at Inspire

If you use a wheelchair or have been advised to, our wheelchair service is here to help. We support individuals of all ages with long-term mobility and postural needs, offering expert advice to ensure you receive the right equipment for your needs. Once registered with us, we’ll continue to support and maintain your wheelchair on an ongoing basis.

How to Access the Service

The service is available to adults and children with long-term disabilities (lasting over six months) who are registered with a Greenwich GP. You’ll need a referral from your doctor or another healthcare professional, such as an occupational therapist or physiotherapist. If you’re already registered, you can contact us directly without a new referral.

Using the Service

We assess referrals based on an eligibility criterion, prioritising needs. A member of our therapy team will contact you for more information and may arrange a face-to-face assessment, either at our clinic or in your home/school. After determining the right equipment, we’ll order it, then adjust it to fit you once ready.
